We got a room with a bathtub. The hotel was in a really beautiful location, super close to nature 🌿.

The standard twin room was equipped with basic facilities, including a microwave oven, a refrigerator, tea and coffee making equipment. The view over garden was amazing. Quiet location very close to nature was a plus.

We absolutely LOVED staying at Sunset Inn. The view is amazing! We booked the little house, which was comfortable. Great communal kitchen, clean bathrooms. And Isa, the owner, is a top guy! He serves an excellent breakfast and his homemade juices are the best. It’s a bit of a drive from La Fortuna, and you’ll need a 4x4 to get to the camping. Close to the lake for swimming or kayaking. And a nice bar close by. We had a great time here!

The camping ground was also in a stunning setting, offering a beautiful view of the lake and volcano. The tent I stayed in was spacious, with a comfortable double bed. The breakfast provided was plentiful and delicious. The staff was friendly, though there were some communication challenges at times. It's worth noting that having a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for parking at the camping ground. While there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of hot water and noise at times, these issues didn't significantly impact my overall experience. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would still highly recommend this inn for a pleasant and enjoyable stay in La Fortuna. I had a great time and would recommend this inn to others.

Although there were some minor drawbacks, such as the need for a 4x4 vehicle to navigate the driveway up to the property, the overall experience was fantastic. Our tent accommodation had a comfortable double bed and a fan, allowing for a fresh breeze to flow through. The breakfast that was included was delicious, with refreshing fresh fruit juice. The bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. The hosts, Ingrid and her husband, were extremely helpful and kind, providing us with valuable information for planning the rest of our trip in Costa Rica. We highly recommend this place!
